About Reach Edmonton
The Reach Learning Centre in Edmonton (Sherwood Park) provides personalized, one-on-one Orton-Gillingham student services for learners with dyslexia, ADHD, and other language-based learning differences. Our Edmonton Reach offers structured, multisensory literacy intervention during the school year with flexible appointments and summer programming to reinforce progress. Families can expect an inviting learning environment and an evidence-based approach designed to build reading, writing, and spelling skills tailored to each student’s unique profile. Edmonton also hosts accredited Orton-Gillingham training services for educators and practitioners to advance their knowledge.
Darla Janzen, MAAL - Reach Partner, Edmonton
Darla is the director of the new REACH location in Edmonton/Sherwood Park, which provides student services and teacher training. She is an Orton Gillingham Classroom Educator with a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics (MAAL) and Inclusive Classrooms Certification. Darla has extensive experience providing specialized language and learning resource services in international schools, and is passionate about supporting educators, parents and students. Darla and her husband have raised three wonderful young men who are not so little anymore!
