Reach Parent Library

We are pleased to be able to share with our REACH families our Parent Resource Library. Our Parent Library has more than 400 publications available to our registered families to sign out, including books, videos, research journals, DVDs and professional articles.

In our continued effort to support families affected by learning difficulties and/or dyslexia, we are pleased to offer several “Parent Nights” each academic year. These evenings are an opportunity to learn information presented by our directors or by other professionals in the field of learning difficulties. These presentations are always free for families at REACH. Call the centre at 604.987.6760 to find out more.

Reach Parent Night

Speech and Language Development: Beyond ‘s’ and ‘l’ troubles.

Humans have an innate desire to communicate, and watching your child develop the speech, language, and social skills required for effective communication can be some of the most exciting times of your life. However, knowing what to expect, and more importantly, what to do if things aren’t progressing typically, can be daunting and overwhelming. Join REACH’s Speech-Language Pathologist Kate Dixon as we present our next Parent Night where you can learn about what to expect at different age levels, the link between speech, language, and literacy, and what you can do to support your children. This session is FREE for parents to attend but pre-registration is required.

Date: Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 7pm

Location: REACH OG Learning Centre, 1051 Churchill Crescent, North Vancouver, BC
